As we recently reported, Chris Brown was arrested Sunday morning in DC after he allegedly assaulted a man outside of a W Hotel. He was later arrested for felony assault but after appearing in court Monday afternoon the charge was reduced to misdemeanor assault. The singer’s crime may have been reduced but it’s being reported that he is still facing four years of jail time since he is currently still on probation for assaulting Rihanna back in 2009.

There have been conflicting accounts on what happened that led to the confrontation, but the victim is still telling police that Chris yelled homophobic slurs and attacked him after he attempted to photo bomb him while he was taking a photo with two female fans. The victim who has been identified as Parker Isaac Adams is also claiming that Chris then punched him in the face and broke his nose, but Chris’ camp is still claiming that the injuries he suffered are minor.

While it was recently reported by TMZ that witnesses gave conflicting stories which resulted in Chris’ charge being reduced to a misdemeanor, a witness tells the Associated Press that Chris was absolutely to blame for the incident and they feel the singer should have just let his bodyguards handle the situation.

Abraham Luakabuanga, an owner of a limousine company says:

“I looked at Chris Brown and was like ‘Sir, why this?’ To me, it was like, ‘You’re a star, you have bodyguards.’ Things should have been handled differently.”

The victim’s uncle says his nephew is “not some kind of hoodlum” and they cannot understand why the situation became so violent so fast. It’s also being said the victim was on a double date the night the incident occurred.

Chris’ camp still maintains their story and claims the victim tried to trespass on his tour bus and he was appropriately handled by his bodyguard, who was also charged with misdemeanor assault.

  1. I think most of us agree with what this guy said. No matter how you slice it, it’s an incident that could have been prevented. Chris is a hot mess and he’s not trying to change obviously.

  2. Yeah it should have never happened. Chris jumped in because he still has anger issues he never got help for. But he’s going to have to accept responsibility for his actions one day. All these excuses and pointing fingers he’s doing has to stop. Trouble can’t always be finding you.

  3. Damn right his bodyguard should have been trusted to handle it. That’s what Chris pays him for! I don’t understand why he even decided to get involved. Just bad choices all around and it’s frustrating as a fan to see him keep doing this.

  4. Chris is just an idiot. He had the opportunity to be next big thing in music and even be a younger generation Michael Jackson. But he just had to go and ruin all of that.

  5. Honestly, if Chris doesn’t go to jail over this, he’s never going. And he will continue to get in trouble too because he never had to deal with any real consequences besides the media bashing him.

  6. Chris ain’t going to jail. He has one of the best attorneys in Hollywood. People might as well stop buying the hype they read on TMZ. Nothing is happening to him.
