On last night’s episode of “Real Housewives of Potomac,” Ashley finally has that important and emotional conversation with her mother.
She also makes some progress with Robyn.
Gizelle gets another chance with Karen.
Monique reveals a recent heartbreak.
And Gizelle makes a controversial career decision.
Here’s a recap of “First Ladies & Second Chances.”

Ashley needs to cut her momma off. She doesn’t want to do better for herself.
Exactly.
Sad to hear about Monique.
I don’t know why Karen forgave Gizelle. Gizelle will always shade Karen because she’s a fake friend.
Ashley better listen to Michael. Her momma ain’t leaving her boyfriend. And she doesn’t want to better herself either. She’s going to go broke and lose Michael trying to save someone who doesn’t want to be saved. As for Robyn, her real issue is she can’t stand to hear the truth about Juan. Sadly Ashley has been the only one to call it for what it is. That’s why she doesn’t like Ashley.
Ashley seems to be more loyal to her mom than her mom has been to her. She keeps picking boyfriends over Ashley. She really is a sad case.
Candiace’s man has me so curious. If Candiace’s mom pays a lot of her bills and even invested in her business and partly owns Candiace’s house, what does her fiance actually do? When you compare him to the other men/husbands, he doesn’t match up at all. Plus, he acted really immaturely at that party.
Ashley is fighting a losing battle. Some people get wiser as they age and some don’t. Her mom just doesn’t get it and refuses to.
Ashley’s mom is a mess. You have to wonder if Ashley giving her money is the only reason they have a “relationship” now. She just seems like a major user. That’s why she doesn’t mind her boyfriend using her.
Everything Ashley said to Robyn is what she wishes she could say to her mom.
Ashley is actually enabling her mother’s poor choices by constantly giving her money when she keeps making bad decisions.
I can’t tell someone how they should handle a miscarriage but Monique’s handling of it is just off to me.
