On the latest episode of “Real Housewives of Potomac,” Gizelle is headed to court over her father’s will. Mia and Gordon’s daughter isn’t supportive of her marrying Inc. Here are the highlights of “Love in the Fast Lane.”
Gizelle has an honest conversation with her daughters about issues involving her father’s will.
Gizelle holds a sit-down with her daughters to discuss the situation regarding her father’s will. She says his original will was tossed out by someone close to him during his last days. In the first will, things were left to Gizelle and her daughters. However, this new will that is supposed to replace the former one removed her and her daughters completely. Although her father technically signed this new will, Gizelle knows he wasn’t in his right mind at this time because she was with him and it was two days after his surgery. So she is preparing to fight this in court to ensure her father’s vision for generational wealth isn’t dishonored.
The whole situation confirms to Gizelle that she doesn’t need to get remarried and have someone legally attached to her. Since Jamal is remarrying soon, they recently discussed protecting their daughters. To make sure that Jamal’s future spouse doesn’t try to remove the girls from the will, he had a trust created for them.
Stacey and TJ catch up to address the tension they had at Wendy’s 40th birthday party. TJ makes Stacey a pizza. He didn’t like that Stacey wasn’t with him the whole night. She made a point to be social with the rest of the guests. So she figured that TJ would do the same with the husbands. Regardless, Stacey apologizes. They move on and discuss their relationship. Stacey mentions that the other ladies think she should take a break from monogamy and date multiple men since she’s getting a divorce. When she asks TJ if he’d be open to that, TJ says he’d be okay. But he would date other women if she started seeing other men.
Keiarna and Mia put their differences aside to discuss Gordon’s mental health.
Wendy and her sister Ivy head to a restaurant to meet their mother, Susan. It’s time for Wendy to tell Susan she quit her job. She is no longer a professor at Johns Hopkins University. Wendy has been slow to break this news to Susan because she is worried that Susan will be very disappointed. It’s important for Susan to be able to brag about her children’s successes.
When Susan arrives, Wendy tells her she is no longer a professor. She explains she wanted to close the chapter because she was “tolerated and not appreciated.” Susan understands this and supports Wendy’s right to find a place where she feels valued.
Mia and Keiarna meet up to discuss Gordon’s mental health. In a green screen interview, Mia says that Keiarna’s boo Greg being a social worker makes her a great person to get advice from. Keiarna thinks Mia’s situation with Inc. is triggering for Gordon because he believes they could reconcile. It’s not a good idea for him to live in the same building as Mia and the children. She tells Mia to set boundaries.
Keairna then asks Mia who fathered her son Jeremiah. Mia thinks Gordon is Jeremiah’s biological father. Inc. wants a DNA test but Gordon isn’t having it.
Ashley goes on a date with Josh, the man she met when she went speed-dating with Gizelle. Josh is 30 years old and a cancer survivor.
Gordon and Mia’s daughter isn’t here for Mia marrying Inc.
Mia and Gordon talk to the children about their split. Their daughter Juliana doesn’t want them to divorce. She tells Mia, “You can’t marry Mr. Inc. You get what you get, and you don’t get upset!”
In a green screen interview, Mia says Juliana will understand her actions when she is older. She’s given Gordon 15 years and she is ready to move on.
Gordon thinks they should attempt to talk to Jeremiah and Juliana about their divorce some other time.
Mia is exhausting. I hope Gizelle gets that will tossed out. It’s shameful how second wives can be.
Mia makes me tired 😫. Did Giselle have siblings or other family?
